If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a Head of Stationery to join our dynamic school team and lead our stationary department to new heights.

Responsibilities:

  1. Procurement and Inventory Management: Oversee the selection, purchase, and inventory management of all stationary items required for the school, ensuring adequate supplies are available at all times.
  2. Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiate favorable terms, and strive for cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.
  3. Budgeting: Develop and manage the department’s budget, keeping track of expenses and optimizing spending while adhering to financial guidelines.
  4. Quality Control: Ensure that all stationary items meet the school’s quality standards and specifications, and regularly assess the performance and reliability of vendors.
  5. Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of stationary department staff, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure a smooth workflow and excellent customer service.
  6. Product Innovation: Stay informed about the latest stationary trends and innovations to introduce creative and relevant products to enrich the learning environment.
  7. Compliance and Policies: Ensure adherence to school policies and procedures related to procurement, financial management, and sustainability practices.
  8. Events Support: Collaborate with teachers and administrative staff to provide timely and accurate stationary support for school events, exhibitions, and projects.
  9. Environmental Sustainability: Advocate for sustainable practices in stationary procurement, encouraging the use of eco-friendly materials and reducing waste.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, inventory management, or a relevant field, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities to effectively manage a team and collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of stationary products and industry trends.
  • Familiarity with budget management and cost control principles.
  • Commitment to environmental sustainability practices.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office and inventory management tools.
