Primary Assistant Head Teacher – Teaching & Learning (Maternity Cover)

Salary information: Inner London (competitive based on skills and experience), Phases 1-3 (6-14); Phases 4-6 (8-16)

School 21 is a pioneering 4 to 18 school in Stratford, East London that is developing a rich curriculum and a range of exciting pedagogies. This is your chance to be able to contribute to the strategic leadership and management of the 4-18 school and play a lead role as part of the Extended Leadership Team (ELT)*

The successful candidates will have a record of leading successful phase level change and have experience in either student welfare or curriculum leadership.

The post holder must be a strong team player and be able to establish effective working relationships with other team members, students, parents, leaders, support staff and both internal and external stakeholders.

This role would oversee Phase 2, encompassing Years 2, 3 and 4 in the primary school.

Leadership responsibility for Teaching and Learning, including leading the strategic planning of Professional Learning Communities (our bespoke CPD offer), 

Assessment and Data and overseeing the quality of Teaching and Learning across the primary from Reception to Year 6.
