Dear School 21 families,
Happy New Year! It’s wonderful to welcome everyone back for the start of 2026 on Tuesday 6th January. Breakfast club will begin at 7.45 am, with the school day starting at 8.30 am. This month, pupils from Reception to Sixth Form will be enjoying trips, sitting assessments, and we look forward to seeing many of you at our parent meetings.
We are grateful for your continued support, which helps our students thrive. We are proud of every student and all they achieve, and we can’t wait to see what they will accomplish this term.
With warm wishes,
Moray Dickson

Awards
Jerry in Year 10 won the prestigious Jack Petchey Award for Outstanding Achievement. Nominated for his exceptional oracy skills in coaching and GCSE PE. Jerry chose to spend his reward on an ice skating trip to Sapphire Ice & Leisure Centre in Romford. Students had a fantastic time building on the skills they learnt during our end of year trip. There were far fewer falls, much better balance and even one student can now skate backwards! A fantastic festive trip for everyone involved.

Learning in action!
Last term, students have been busy exploring and learning in lots of exciting ways. In Reception, children made and painted decorations for different celebrations, while Year 4 shared Bolivian culture and food in their geography exhibition. Chinese Club students practiced Cantonese and Mandarin through stories and songs. Our older students had unforgettable adventures at Jamie’s Farm, enjoying outdoor challenges, animal care, and creative activities. Sixth Form ambassadors visited Auschwitz, developing empathy and civic understanding. Across the school, pupils also raised funds for Save the Children, showing care and community spirit. Year 12 Social Action Projects: As part of their social action project, a group of year 12 students have spent their Wednesday afternoons volunteering at a local charity that tackles healthcare inequality. The students were responsible for creating gift packs to distribute to mothers & babies ahead of Christmas. Well done to our year 12 students for embodying our school values of community and responsibility!
